FYI
Sipapu is a family owned and operated resort with one goal in mind since beginning in 1952, "Family Friendly, Family Fun!" As ski enthusiasts, we are here to share our passion for skiing with all levels of skiers in an intimate setting, which allows a guest to become part of the Sipapu family. The peace and tranquillity of our secluded location makes Sipapu one of the ideal destinations for those who appreciate the pleasure of getting back to the basics.

Off-Slope Attractions
Sipapu is perfect for pursuing the art of relaxation. The resort is self-contained in the pines of the Carson National Forest with its own grocery store, restaurant, accommodations and gas station. For those wanting something more than peace and quiet, the town of Taos is a quick drive away. Taos has been a cultural cross-roads for centuries. The adobe-brick five story Taos Pueblo rose at the foot of Taos Mountain in the 13th century. In the 1500's Spanish Conquistadors explored the Taos area seeking the fabled "Seven Cities of Gold". The early 19th century fur trappers and mountain men joined the pueblo people and Spanish settlers in the valley below the snow-capped peaks.

Places To Eat
The Sipapu grill is a full service restaurant and lounge serving everything from burgers and fries to local New Mexico favorites. The grill is open daily from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and delicious snacks in between.
