Ski Apache is the second largest ski area in New Mexico. It is known for its casual and welcoming atmosphere.

Owned and operated by the Mescalero Apache Tribe, Ski Apache offers a mix of wide beginner slopes, tough bump runs along with nice cruising runs. A terrain park features jumps, tubes and rails. Ski Apache is home to New Mexico’s only eight-passenger gondola and has the most lift capacity of any resort in the state, allowing 5,600 guests to explore the mountain’s runs and 1,900 foot vertical drop every hour. With more than 750 skiable acres, Ski Apache is the perfect location for skiers and snow boarders looking for a challenge or a relaxed day on the slopes.
