Our FREE President’s Day Weekend celebration includes a giant snow castle, mountain-wide treasure hunt, and costume contest and parade, with heaps of fantastic prizes and more fun than you can shake a ski pole at.
February 17—19, 2018
Snow Castle (Saturday, Sunday & Monday)
Time: Opens at 9 a.m.
Sipapu builds our trademark snow castle every year: a huge structure filled with stairs, slides, flags and plenty of places to play. Join us at 9 a.m. Saturday as we unveil this year’s creation and open the castle for all to explore.
Treasure Hunt (Saturday, Sunday & Monday)
Time: 9 a.m.—4 p.m.
Our treasure hunt is part scavenger hunt and all adventure. Search the mountain for laminated letters, and when you can spell CLOWN, bring the letters to the ski school in exchange for a prize.
Costume Contest, Parade & Pinata (Saturday only)
Time: 1 p.m.
Costumed participants meet at the top of Lower Gamble at 12:30 p.m. Spectators gather at the base area near Lift #1 at 1:00 p.m. We’ll announce costume contest winners at 1:30 p.m. at the snow castle, where we award medals and prizes, including vouchers for lift tickets, Riverside Cafe, and Olive’s General Store. After the parade, enjoy pinata fun and balloon animals in the base area.
