Angel Fire 2010 Opening Dates

Angel Fire Opens December 16, 2010
December 15, 2010 - Angel Fire Resort will open as scheduled for the 2010-2011 Winter Season this Thursday, December 16 with 50% off all lift tickets through the weekend. Adults may purchase a full day adult lift ticket for just $32, Teens 13-17 years old are $27 and Juniors 7-12 years of age are $22. Children 6 and under are free as well as seniors 70 and over.
The temporary price reduction comes as a response to the recent warmer and dry weather patterns that have limited the amount of skiable terrain for the first few days. With several snowstorms on the horizon over the next two weeks together with cooler temperatures for snowmaking, the season will continue to get brighter and whiter from here on out.
What to expect for Opening Weekend:
- Chairlifts running include Chile Express, Chairs 1 & 2, the Polar Coaster moving carpet and the Children’s Ski School moving carpet.
- Terrain open includes: Heading Home (this is nearly 3 miles of skiable acreage); Ridge Run, High Road, Lower Exhibition, the Polar Coaster, a new freestyle area adjacent to the Polar Coaster and the Children’s Ski School yard.
- Night Skiing will be available for $12 per person starting Thursday in the Dreamcatcher area. This includes the freestyle park. Hours of operation are 4pm-8pm.
- The Polar Coaster tubing hill will be open starting Thursday at the regular price of $20 per person per session.
- Base Camp, our new fun zone for kids and teens located in the Garden Court, will be open to the public starting Thursday. There is no entry fee. Hours of operation are 4pm-9pm. Designed for ages 7-17.
- Restaurants open include the Summit Haus, Village Haus, The Buzz coffee trailer, the Lodge Coffee Shop, Legends Grill (formerly known as En Fuego), Chianti’s Pizza, and the Country Club dining in Stonewood and Elements.
- The Country Club swimming pool and fitness center will be open normal scheduled hours of 7am-7pm.
