The Town of Taos offers the perfect accompaniment to a great day on the slopes. Taos has six museums including the UNM Harwood, Millicent Rogers, Hacienda de los Martinez, Blumenschein Home & Museum, Taos Art Museum (Fechin House) and the Kit Carson Home & Museum – plus Hotel La Fonda de Taos’ private “D.H. Lawrence Room,” a celebration of the Forbidden Art. The Taos Center for the Arts has regularly scheduled live performances, film, theater and many other types of events.
